Grant Mushet

Grant Mushet might’ve swapped Scottish rain for West Aussie sun, but he’s held onto the accent - and the grit - that makes his comedy hit hard and land honest. Originally from Scotland, Grant’s been performing stand-up for over 10 years and has carved out a name for himself as one of the most relatable voices in Perth’s comedy scene. When he’s not on stage, Grant Mushet is a full-time dad of four and works from home selling mechanical equipment to the mining industry. Before that? He was a rope access mechanical fitter and valve technician - the kind of jobs that give you stories (and a strong back). On stage, Grant Mushet blends working-class perspective with dry humour, parenting chaos, and sharp storytelling. He’s a regular MC and support act at Comedy Lounge Perth City and Comedy Lounge Fremantle, and in 2025, was named a finalist in the Australian Comedian of the Year competition.
