Tarun Mohanbhai

Tarun Mohanbhai has been cracking up audiences as a professional comedian for over 20 years. His talent earned him a Billy T Award nomination and he took out best comedy show at the 2004 New Zealand Comedy Festival. This guy has seriously done the rounds. He's performed all over the globe, hitting up the Jongleurs circuit in the UK, Yuk Yuk's and Lafflines in Vancouver, plus major LA venues like The Improv, The Ice House and The Comedy Store. Back home, he's worked multiple comedy rooms in Sydney and right across New Zealand, where he's become a go-to comic on the pro circuit and a seasoned corporate performer. His international festival game is strong too. He's taken his act to the Jakarta Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Durban Comedy Festival, and venues across Malaysia and Singapore. When he's not on stage, Tarun writes. He's penned the critically acclaimed plays D'Arranged Marriage, From India With Love and Cornershop Confessions. On the TV side, he's written for some big shows including 7 Days, A Thousand Apologies, and The Project.
