Zhanna Sichivitsa

I started stand up comedy last year at 52, and hope to inspire a generation of middle-aged women to expand their ranting onto unsuspecting audiences. I spend a lot of time daydreaming and overthinking things that could have been ignored entirely. I was born in Russia, grew up in Ukraine, spent my formative years in the United States and live on the Gold Coast, where I sell real estate during the day and at night write comedy about aging, bad decisions, and the uncomfortable gap between who we think we are and who we actually are. I’ve written two comedy novels, worked my way to becoming a Vice President of a huge organisation, started my own business and firmly believe that most life problems begin with exuberant, misguided confidence. My comedy is observational, slightly unhinged, and inspired by real events that probably shouldn’t have happened.
