Brisbane-based comedian Codie Grimsey brings a dry, awkward, and deadpan humour style to the stage. Growing up as a freakishly tall, red-headed kid, Codie turned to comedy to navigate the constant torment of looking like Ronald McDonald’s love child. He hilariously combines awkward true stories from his childhood with sharp one-liners, offering audiences a refreshingly unique experience. Though a relative newcomer to the stand-up scene, Codie made it to the QLD state final of the RAW Comedy competition in 2020.
